Learning English as a foreign language: Tip #1
Read often in English. It's not important if you are a beginner or not - reading will really help you to improve your English grammar, vocabulary and writing. See books for English learners to choose a book for your level. It doesn't matter very much what you read - choose something you enjoy that isn't too difficult. Don't panic about understanding every word - if you choose something for your level, it should be quite easy and you should be able to get the main idea without using a dictionary. Later (if you see the same word three times, for example) you can look up a few words in an English dictionary.
If you want to learn more about the tenses, especially about how to use them when you're speaking, you could try my video course, Terrific Tenses, which is part of Perfect English Grammar Plus.
