About Me

Hi, I'm Seonaid (it's pronounced "shona"), and I hope my site is useful for you.

I'm a British native speaker of English. I've been teaching English to foreign students for over seven years.

I've taught business people, children, doctors, university students and grandmothers in Japan, Korea, New Zealand, and most recently London, where I live with my husband.

I love teaching and I love thinking about language. I study French (my level is close to advanced) and Japanese (my level is intermediate).

I've got a degree in Linguistics and French from Birkbeck College, University of London, and I've just finished a Master's degree at Cambridge University in English and Applied Linguistics. These days I work in a language school in London.
