About Me
Hi, I'm Seonaid (it's pronounced "shona"), and I hope my site is useful for you.
I'm a British native speaker of English. I've been teaching English to foreign students for over six years and at the moment I teach most days.
I've taught business people, children, doctors, university students and grandmothers in Japan, Korea, New Zealand, and most recently London, where I live now.
I love teaching and I love thinking about language. I study French (my level is close to advanced) and Japanese (my level is intermediate).
I've also just finished a degree in Linguistics at Birkbeck College, University of London, and in October, I'll start a Master's degree at Cambridge University in English and Applied Linguistics.
During my degree, I studied how people learn and use languages, and I'm always interested in finding new ways of studying.
